In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dr Om Srivastava, member of Maharashtra COVID Task Force, said that it is more prudent to wait and unlock only when it is safe.
Asked if a state like Maharashtra can afford an extended lockdown, Srivastava said, “Instead of jumping into a process that you will find difficult to reverse, it is more prudent to wait a while, keep all the players in confidence and Unlock only when it is. Safe. It’s better to err on the side of caution.”
