isro: Countdown starts for launch of Isro’s workhorse carrying 3 satellites | India News – Times of India

CHENNAI: The 25.3-hour countdown for the launch of Indian Space Research Organization‘s workhorse PSLV-C52 carrying EOS-04, a radar imaging satellite and two other satellites, commenced in Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota at 4.29am on Sunday. The rocket will lift off from the first launch pad at Sriharikota at 5.59am on Monday.
Isro officials said the countdown commenced after authorization by the launch authorization board,
PSLV in its 54 flight carries radar imaging satellite EOS-04, INS-2TD a technology demonstrator from Isro and Inspiresat-1, a student satellite developed by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in association with University of Colorado,
Monday’s launch will also be the 23 mission of PSLV in XL configuration with six PSOM-XLs.
