An Israeli delegation, led by Foreign Ministry Director-General Ronen Levy, reached a preliminary agreement with the Polish government to resolve issues related to the delegation’s security and the content of the visits.
“I welcome the decision to return the student delegations to Poland, a very important decision of exceptional national importance and value. I thank the Polish Education Minister for the joint work that contributed to the success of the delegations’ return Foreign Minister Eli Cohen commented, “I see great importance in providing all Israeli students with the memory of the Holocaust and the study of our heritage as a nation.”
