The temple authority said, ISKCON member, Partha Das Yesterday more than 200 people were brutally murdered by a mob.
His body was found in a pond next to the temple, the authority said. “We demand immediate action from the Bangladesh government,” ISKCON said on Twitter.

This comes after tensions broke out between a group of locals in Kamila on Wednesday after news surfaced on social media about alleged desecration of the Holy Quran at a Durga Puja site on the banks of Nanuar Dighi.
Similar incidents occurred in different districts across the country on Wednesday night and Thursday, forcing the government to deploy Border Guard Bangladesh troops to 22 districts along with additional law enforcement officers.
Several places of worship were vandalized in the areas of Chandpur, Chittagong, Ghazipur, Bandarban, Chapainwabganj and Maulvibazar. According to the Dhaka Tribune report, there were many casualties in the clashes.
