ISIS-K claims Kabul attacker was arrested in Delhi five years ago

ISIS-K has claimed in propaganda material that the suicide bomber at Kabul airport wanted to strike in India, but was arrested in Delhi five years ago.

“ISIS-K in the 20th edition of its propaganda magazine ‘Voice of Hind’ claims IS-K suicide bomber Abdur Rahman Logari, who bombed Kabul airport on 26 August; traveling to India to avenge Kashmir of; arrested in Delhi (sic) 5 years ago and deported to Afghanistan,” Salim Mehsud said in a tweet.

According to ISIS-K propaganda, Logari, the terrorist who carried out the suicide attack on the Kabul airport on August 26, was arrested in India five years ago, in 2016.

He wanted to attack in “revenge” for Kashmir, Prachar said but was arrested in Delhi and deported to Afghanistan.
