The highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 released Ishq Vishk is heading for its release on June 21 this year. Titled Ishq Vishk Rebound, it is expected to explore love and its complexities through the lens of Gen Z. The rom-com features Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan, Naila Grrewal, and Hrithik Roshan’s cousin, Pashmina Roshan in the lead roles. Ahead of its release, the makers dropped the film’s teaser, raising excitement for the fans.
Holding the fans no longer, the makers today dropped an intriguing teaser, transporting everyone back to their college days with mushy romances, true friendships, betrayal, and guaranteed entertainment! So, the question is: will you hold on, or move on? Because this is not your regular love story. Ever heard of ghosting, breadcrumbing, benching, and caspering? No? Recently, the makers of Ishq Vishk Rebound unveiled the solo posters of the film’s cast. As Jibraan’s poster was rolled out, Karan Johar re-shared it on his Instagram handle and accompanied it with a note filled with love and adoration. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director showered Jibraan with his blessings as he wrote, “Congratulations Jibraan Khan, from K3G to Ishq Vishk, All my blessings.”
Hrithik Roshan also joined the director to extend his heartfelt wishes to the star cast of Ishq Vishk Rebound. Interestingly, Hrithik’s cousin sister Pashmina is making her Bollywood debut through the upcoming film. Rooting for her, the Fighter actor shared the character poster featuring Pashmina on his social media handle.
He penned an emotional note for the actress which read, “So proud of you Pashmina Roshan! You made it to this moment all on your own! Can’t wait to watch you shine! Your spirit is going to take you far! Ishq Vishk Rebound is going to ROCK !! All the best to the entire team !! Mark the date! 21st June 2024.”
