Young batsman Ishan Kishan grabbed headlines after scoring the top score for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League last year.IPL 2020). He scored 516 runs at an average of 57.33 for the five-time IPL champions. Following his exploits in the IPL, Ishaan was made his India debut the following year during India’s tour of England. He scored a fearless half-century in his first T20I game and made a strong case for his selection in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in UAE and Oman later this year. Ishaan’s bat has a special text written on it and the 23-year-old revealed it in a recent upload on social media by Mumbai Indians.

When Ishaan was asked if he had any special marks on his bat, he said before revealing that all his bats have a special message written on them. “All my bats have ‘Om Sai Nath’ written on them because I believe in them. I tell him to put it on his bat because I love it, it gives me confidence,” said Ishaan.

Ishan was weak in the first leg of IPL 2021 as he managed just 73 runs in five matches at a below-par average of 14.60. Despite his form, he was handed his ODI debut by Shikhar Dhawan during India’s limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka last month. Ishan grabbed the opportunity with both hands to score a match-winning half-century against Sri Lanka.
