Kollywood actor Vishal’s bachelor status is a frequent topic of discussion in the Tamil film industry. The 44-year-old actor, known for his action roles and dangerous stunts in his films, has had his share of failed relationships.
Vishal was constantly linked with actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and the two were rumored to be dating. The two have consistently maintained that they are just good friends. However, their bond soured after Vishal’s team released their election campaign video for Nadigar Sangram accusing the actress’s father R Sarathkumar of abuse of power. In a tweet after the incident, Varalakshmi attacked Vishal.
Later, Vishal got engaged to a lady named Anisha Alla from Hyderabad in March 2019. However, the relationship did not work out and they soon called off their engagement. Vishal is unmarried since then. However, recently he made a statement pointing to the new-found love. He said that he does not believe that arranged marriages work and that is why he will soon reveal his love. People are speculating that Vishal is dating someone and will reveal his name soon.
Earlier, Vishal had also said that he would marry only after the construction of the Nadigar Sangam Bhavan is completed. Vishal was elected general secretary of the body, also known as South Indian Artists Association, in 2015 and is currently a member of the committee with actor Nassar as its chairman. Nassar also said that building the building was his top priority immediately after being elected.
On the work front, Vishal will soon join A.K. Will be seen in the action flick Laathi directed by Vinoth Kumar. Just a few days back, the actor injured himself during the shooting of the film’s climax, due to which the shooting was temporarily stopped. However, he later recovered and resumed shooting. Laathi is slated to release on August 15.
