Akshay Kumar Delivered a speech at the book launch of Hinduja and Bollywood held at the Institute of Directors at Pal Mall in central London on Sunday night. When asked about joining politics, the actor said that he tries to do his work through cinema. Raksha Bandhan, directed by Aanand L Rai, which addresses dowry, was her latest effort. He refused to enter politics, saying he was “very happy” doing films.

Kumar, the chief guest of the event, said, “I am very happy to make films. As an actor, I try my best to raise social issues. I have produced 150 films, which are closest to my heart. That is Raksha Bandhan.” Told.

“I produce commercial films, sometimes with social issues. I make three-four films a year,” he said.

From “Mother India”, “Sangam”, “Guide” to “Sholay”, Indian industrialists Hinduja Brothers distributed around 1,200 films across the world, which played a significant role in shaping Hindi cinema.

GP Hinduja, co-chairman of Hinduja Group of Industries, said, “In all these films we have financed and distributed, we have never lost money because we work hard to earn money.”

Lord Tariq Ahmed, Minister of State for External Affairs and Commonwealth Affairs, said that the Hinduja family has contributed in bringing people together.

Ahmed said, “As we celebrate 75 years of India’s independence today, we also celebrate the contribution of people of Indian origin.”

Renowned filmmakers Vashu Bhagnani and Vijay Goel, President of Indo-European Business Forum, Music Director Anu MalikLord Raj Loomba, founder of the NGO Loomba Foundation and Baroness Sandeep Verma also attended the book launch.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay is currently busy working on several projects including ‘Selfie’ and the remake of Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Potru’.
