Iran and the United States are holding indirect talks to revive a 2015 agreement between Tehran and the six powers, which banned Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.

Then US President Donald Trump withdrew Washington from the accord in 2018, but President Joe Biden is seeking to revive it. Officials from all sides have said there are major issues to be resolved before the deal is reinstated.
