iQoo 9 series will come with 50MP Samsung GN5 camera and 150-degree ultra wide-angle lens – Times of India

Chinese smartphone giant Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has announced that iQoo 9 Series Will be launched on January 5. The main camera of the phone in this lineup will be Samsung 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor while the secondary camera will have a 150-degree ultra wide-angle lens, reports GSMArena
The report states that the company claims the iQoo 9 series to be the world’s first smartphone to come with a 50MP GN5 sensor and a poster shared by the company also suggests that it will be a 7P lens with gimbal stabilisation. . However, it looks like the Pro model may be the only model with a 150-degree ultra wide-angle camera.
The report also states that iQoo has also announced that the 120W GaN charger that comes with the iQoo 9 Pro will be smaller than the earlier adapter and will weigh just 35 grams.
Earlier, iQoo also revealed that the iQoo 9 series will feature a 4700mAh battery, but did not clarify whether both the regular and Pro models will pack a cell of this size or will it be exclusive to the Pro model only.
iQoo has already confirmed that the iQoo 9 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and will also support 50W wireless charging and have a three-dimensional VC heat dissipation system. These phones are expected to sport LTPO 2.0 type 2K 120Hz E5 AMOLED screens with 517 ppi pixel density, 1,500 nits peak brightness and 1,000Hz touch sampling rate.
