Jasprit Bumrah managed to reclaim the purple cap after picking up two wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens.

Following the rain-affected fixture between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Jasprit Bumrah managed to put in another clinical performance for the five-time champions despite MI coming out of that game with a defeat by 18 runs.

Against KKR, Bumrah managed to finish with figures of 2/39 in his quota of four overs. He managed to strike in his very first ball where he bamboozled Sunil Narine to shatter the stumps to get his first wicket of the evening.

He then showcased his prowess at the death. Despite going for more runs than usual, Bumrah managed to get the big wicket of Rinku Singh who is known to be particularly aggressive through the final stretch of the innings.

From the other side, it was the mystery spin-duo of KKR where Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy were the picks of the bowlers as they picked up 1 and 2 wickets respectively to their tallies.
