GT vs MI IPL 2023 It’s raining before Qualifier 2, what do the rules say if it doesn’t rain

Just ahead of IPL 2023 Qualifier 2, it started raining at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad as Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans battle it out for a place in the final against Chennai Super Kings. Initially there was light drizzle but later as the rain continued more covers were brought in.

Since there are no reserve days for the IPL 2023 qualifiers and eliminators, both the teams are likely to compete in matches of at least five overs per side, as per the league rules.

In a situation where even five overs per side is not possible, there is a possibility of the two sides playing a Super Over, with the cut-off time for the Super Over being set at 12:50 AM.
