RCB faced Punjab Kings in the third game of the season. The Faf du Plessis-led side scored over 200 runs, and were expected to strike early with the ball. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and PBKS openers Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal got off to a good start.
After RCB conceded 71 runs in seven overs with no success, the captain brought Hasranga into the attack and the leg-spinner did not disappoint. They managed to score the first 200+ total of the season in their 20 overs. PBKS managed to chase down the target in 19 overs for the loss of five wickets.
