IPL 2022: MS Dhoni hits a big six with one hand during practice session, CSK shares video

new Delhi: The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is going to start from 26 March. The first match of the tournament is scheduled to be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

There is less than 20 days left for IPL 2022 to start. Both CSK and KKR have started their preparations for the season opener. Chennai is currently practicing at the Lala Bhai Contractor Stadium in Surat under the leadership of captain MS Dhoni.

Meanwhile, CSK posted a video on Instagram, in which MS Dhoni can be seen hitting long sixes. In the viral video, the Chennai captain is seen hitting a big six with one hand during the practice session.

According to reports, Chennai is practicing in Surat as the soil here is similar to the soil of the Mumbai ground where Yellow Army will play their league matches.


The league stage matches of IPL 2022 will be played at four stadiums – Wankhede Stadium and Cricket Club of India in Mumbai, DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
