Highlighting Hardik Pandya’s captaincy in IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans mentor Gary Kirsten said that the title-winning captain remained humble and eager to learn throughout the competition.

On Sunday, May 29, Hardik Pandya became the fourth Indian after MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir to win an IPL title as captain. Questions were raised when Hardik Pandya was appointed the captain of the Gujarat Titans franchise, one of the two new players for IPL 2022. “T20 is a very tactical game. I’ve loved working with Ashish, he’s very good tactically. It’s an incredible win in front of 100,000 people in your first season,” he added.

Highlighting on winning the IPL trophy in front of the home crowd, Kirsten said: “Really amazed. You are looking for balance, depth in the auction but most importantly you need guys who are versatile.
