IPL 2021: Played the role of peacemaker – Dinesh Karthik reveals the reason behind Ashwin and Eoin Morgan feud

As the argument intensified, Dinesh Karthik tried to defuse the situation.

“Rahul Tripathi bowls the ball, it hits Rishabh Pant, and then it gets ricocheted. Then (Ravichandran) Ashwin called it and they started running. I don’t think (Eoin) Morgan appreciates it. He is someone who, when the ball hits the batsman or pad, is expected not to run in the spirit of cricket. This is a very gray area and a very interesting topic. I have my own opinion on this but for the time being I will just say that I am happy that I played the role of peacemaker and things have come to a standstill for now,” Kartik said in the virtual press conference.
