IPL 2021: Jason Roy, Kane Williamson star as SRH RR. Defeated

When Roy was going first in the SRH color with the experienced Saha, both looked comfortable against the Royals’ bowlers, neither of whom was really able to ask the batsmen any questions.

Saha played a quickfire 18 for 11 before being stumped by Samson off Mahipal Lomror, scoring 57/1 at the start of 6.th up.

Roy was then joined by Kane Williamson and the two continued to chip in. Soon, Roy was playing his power game, sending anything in his range.

Williamson at the other end was also accumulating at a good rate, going for the maximum with an audacious shot at extra cover from Lomour.

SRH and Roy, in particular, took Rahul Tewatia to his half-century in his third over, scoring 21 runs as the opener. Chetan Sakariya lashed out at the Englishman and caught him behind the leg-side for 60 for 12 before Roy and Williamson were ready to take the team home to a big win.th up.

At the end of the next over, Priyam Garg was caught and bowled by Mustafizur Rahman for a first-ball duck as SRH scored 119/3.
