The finale of CSK vs KKR IPL 2021 is being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The opening pair of Rituraj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis gave their team a strong start with a partnership of 50-plus. KKR captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and decided to field first. Today’s match is the 10th IPL final of two-time World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni as captain in the history of this tournament. Mighty Mahi has led Chennai to the final nine times and the Rising Pune Supergiants franchise under his captaincy. On the other hand, this is Eoin Morgan’s first IPL final as captain.

Chennai Super Kings took to Instagram to share a video of the legendary wicket-keeper batsman in which he can be seen playing the helicopter shot. Apart from them Suresh Raina and Rituraj Gaikwad can also be seen taking some big shots in this video.
When it comes to the one-on-one record in the history of IPL, Chennai has an excellent record of 17-9 against Kolkata. Kolkata has reached the finals of IPL twice in 2012 and 2014 and the team has emerged as champions on both the occasions.
