Australian opener David Warner shared his favorite moments on Sunday IPL With Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), indicating that they have snapped ties with the franchise before the next season.

Taking to Instagram, Warner shared a heartfelt post, which included glimpses of his journey in the Orange Army.

“My favorite moment!! Also, some pics from our trip, but the last photo is a big thank you for the support shown to us,” he captioned his post.

Notably, the first picture in the post showed him holding the IPL trophy, which SRH won in 2016.

Warner, who scored 195 runs in eight matches after SRH’s poor performance in the first half of the IPL, was dropped not only from the captaincy but also from the playing XI. He returned to the playing XI during the UAE leg of IPL 2021 but found himself out again after scoring two runs in the same number of matches. He has been traveling to the stadium and has been seen cheering from the stands.

The Australian cricketer, who joined SRH in 2015 and led them to an IPL title win in 2016, is the only player in the history of the tournament to win the Orange Cap thrice. The 34-year-old had a dream with the bat in SRH as he scored 4014 runs in 95 matches.

However, the past few weeks have not been great for Warner and there is a high chance that the fans will not retain him.

With a huge auction, the bidding battle between the teams of the Australian batsman is likely to begin. In fact, he will also be a strong contender to lead one of the franchises next year.

According to reports, many teams have approached him even before IPL 2022.
