Apple New software update released iOS 14.7 – For iPhone users around the world. While it may not be a ‘major’ upgrade like iOS 14.5, it does bring some important features for iPhone users. Here are some of the major new features:
HomePod Timer:
For those who have Apple’s HomePod, iOS 14.7 comes with the option to manage the timer. This can be done on the Home app on the iPhone
magsafe battery pack
Apple recently launched a new accessory for the iPhone 12 series called MagSafe Battery Pack. You will need to update to iOS 14 if you are planning to buy the accessory. The MagSafe battery pack can provide additional battery support to the iPhone. It has been launched in India for Rs 10,990.
better podcast experience
Earlier this year, Apple revamped the Podcasts app. The app has been redesigned with a new look and subscription has been released as well. With iOS 14.7, the podcast library in the app allows users to view only the people they follow or watch all shows.
Other issues that were fixed with iOS 14.7 are:

  • Fixed an issue that could cause Dolby Atmos and Apple Music lossless audio playback to stop unexpectedly.
  • The battery service message which may have disappeared after reboot on some iPhone 11 models has been restored.
  • A bug that caused the braille display to display invalid information when composing a mail message has been fixed.
  • A bug that could have caused the disappearance of the Share Playlist menu option in ‌Apple Music‌ has been addressed.
