International female boxer’s husband accused of sexual abuse: complaint to police – husband beats up for dowry, case against three

An international woman boxer from Haryana has accused her husband of mentally and physically harassing her. The female boxer has alleged that the husband beat her up and also sexually assaulted her. On the complaint, the police have registered a case against the husband and other in-laws for assault, dowry harassment, sexual harassment. However, no accused has been arrested in this case so far.

In the complaint given to the police, the international female boxer told that she was married 9 months ago this year. Her husband is working in the bank. Her husband and in-laws are not happy with the dowry given at the time of marriage. Since her marriage, she is being harassed continuously for dowry. He is being tortured in different ways. The victim boxer alleges that his family had spent Rs 60 lakh in the marriage. Now her husband is demanding Fortuner car, diamond ring and cash.

The husband also sexually assaulted her when her demand for dowry was not met. According to the woman player, her in-laws met her in dowry and seized her other belongings. He was beaten up and thrown out of his in-laws’ house. In the in-laws’ house, along with her husband, her mother-in-law and father-in-law also misbehave with her. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law under sections 323, 34, 354, 376, 377, 406, 498, 500 and 506 of assault, dowry harassment, sexual harassment. No arrest has been made in the case so far.
