Intel: Why these Windows users should update their PCs now – Times of India

Intel has started rolling out new driver updates for Windows 10 And windows 11 Operating System. The company announced the updates earlier this week and has now started rolling them out to users running Intel’s accessories in the background. According to a report by WindowsLatest, the new driver update is focused on fixing and improving the quality of the wireless network. The update’s changelog also mentions that this is the first release that includes improvements for Intel’s new product range (Wi-Fi 6E AX411).
According to Intel, Wi-Fi driver addresses bug that causes Wi-Fi connection timeouts in PCs windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system. According to WindowsLatest, the problem may be caused by an access point channel switch request. The update also fixes a bug where some users were not able to connect certain wireless adapters to WPA/AES wireless profiles. Updates are available for these adapters – AX201, AX200, 9560, 9260, 9462, 9461, 8265, 8260, 7265, 3165 and 3168.
In addition, the company has fixed a bug where low sound quality can be observed when using some Bluetooth soundbars during calls. If you want to identify your Intel Wireless Adapter, you can follow these steps:

  1. Locate the taskbar in the lower-right corner of your desktop.
  2. Wireless icon Select the Wireless icon.
  3. Select Network and Internet Settings.
  4. Select Wi-Fi on the left. If not already selected, choose Hardware Properties.
