Instagram will soon allow live creators to add moderators while streaming – Times of India

live scheduling And Practice Mode were two new features that Instagram announced earlier last month specifically to make things easier for live content creators. Live scheduling is already rolling out to users and it allows them to schedule their live videos for up to 90 days. On the other hand, Practice Mode is not rolled out yet, but it does provide users with a test base before going live.
Reports suggest that Instagram is also testing another new feature dedicated to live content creators. Application reverse engineer alessandro paluzzi has revealed that the company is working on a feature that will allow live creators to add moderators to their live streams.
As per the report the feature will be added to Instagram live settings And the feature will make things easier for content creators by allowing them to choose a content moderator from among those who are currently watching the live stream to manage comments and other content during the live stream that is going on.
The feature is still under development and it may take some time before Instagram actually starts testing it to select users first and then rollout to the final build of the app. It is also important to note that as of now, Instagram has not talked about anything related to the feature.
For those unaware, Instagram has finally started using selfies for identity verification. For more information about this and how the new verification process works, click Here.
