Instagram Is Now Adding Schedule Feature For Posts And Reels For Users

Instagram is moving beyond photos and videos, the platform focuses equally on content and messages. And to show its importance, Instagram is bringing Scheduled Posts and Reels feature for the users. You could say this feature already existed, but now Instagram wants to help creators schedule their content for up to 75 days.

The new tool is available in the Advanced Settings section of the Instagram app. Instagram has confirmed that this option will be rolling out to users in the coming weeks.

In addition, the app now has an Achievements section that caters to creators on the app as well. Instagram realizes the potential of this market, and with new initiatives like this, the app wants to provide more incentive for creators to stay on its platform.

The app will let them know when they’ve accomplished something, and creators can also keep track of all the rewards they get from their activities on Instagram.

The platform is testing new ways to attract more users, one of them being its shift of focus to videos over photos, something that Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, has talked about over the past few months. Instagram has tested a 9:16 format for posts, which didn’t go down well with users and Mosseri & Co decided to withdraw it.

Meta is making sweeping changes to its content policies, which includes Instagram. Users will get better protection against hate messages on the app, allowing users to block such accounts and get more updates. You also have the Hidden Words feature which will automatically remove all unwanted content from comments users receive through a post on the Platform.
