Hubballi: A police inspector turned a good Samaritan by taking an accident victim to hospital here on Sunday.
Ravichandra D Badefakkirappanavar, an inspector at Suburban police station, was in his official vehicle near Gujarat Bhavan when Pralhad Rao was hit by a two-wheeler. The officer lifted Rao in his car. “He took Rao, who was bleeding heavily, to Vivekanand hospital,” said a witness. Hospital sources said his life was at risk. North Traffic Police said they have registered a case against the rider.
