Looking drab in his black and silver outfit, Aditya held Anushka close as she posed for the paparazzi outside the venue. The bride-to-be wore a red colored sari and looked gorgeous.
Bollywood celebrities looked like this on Sangeet Ki Raat Alia BhattVaani Kapoor, Akanksha Ranjan Raveena Tandon, and Krystle D’Souza were in attendance. Anu Malik, Gulshan Grover, Sussanne Khan, Bhagyashree and son Abhimanyu Dasani were also present at the party.
A video from the party shows Anushka, Alia, Vaani, Athiya Shetty and other friends dancing to Diljit Dosanjh’s “Lover”. Besties Alia and Akanksha also performed for the bride in Rani Mukerji’s “Chalka Re”. Another video showed the couple exchanging rings on stage as their friends and family cheered them on.
The couple had hosted a mehendi ceremony on Friday, where Alia and Anushka matched the steps to the beat of a dhol. In another video, fans also caught a glimpse of Aditya, in which Anushka’s name was written with henna.
The couple recently spoke to Bombay Times about their wedding plans. “We wanted to get married early, but then we waited for the pandemic to end. I used to live in Bandra earlier, but after my father died in the pandemic, I got an apartment in Anushka’s building, so my mother and I would be close to Anushka’s parents in Andheri,” said Aditya.
Anushka said, “I never wanted a big fat wedding, and I am glad that we are having a small celebration with close friends. Also, I am not someone who would make a fuss about her lehenga or make a fuss about her lehenga. Took days to decide on the songs for my sangeet! Actually, I wasn’t even thinking of getting married right now, but my sister suggested that if not now, then when? I come from a family background where my parents never I didn’t even make it mandatory to get married at a certain age. It was all about working and doing what I love. The feeling of being a wife hasn’t waned yet, but I’m glad I’m with someone like that. Will be someone I have loved and known for a long time and everyone around me is happy too. This is ideal.”
Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan met during a fashion show organized by their mother’s NGO. After a short friendship, both of them started dating each other. Aditya proposed to Anushka in October 2019 in Paris.
