During their much-talked-about pre-departure virtual press conference on Wednesday, India’s Test captain Virat Kohli admitted that his side will miss the services of the veteran duo in the red-ball series against South Africa.

“We will miss his (Sharma) abilities dearly. He has already proved in England that he has really worked in his Test match and the opening partnership was very important for us the way we did in the series. With his experience and skills, we will remember his qualities,” said Kohli.
