Gurgaon: After receiving repeated complaints of power cuts from industrialists, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (Corporation) conducted a special preventive maintenance drive at IMT Manesar and Sector 37 on Sunday and assured the factory owners that they would not face Power Deductions during workdays.
A team of DHBVN officials carried out the maintenance work – tree pruning and replacement of weak jumpers – of over 20 feeders at IMT Manesar and Sector 37. The officials further held a meeting with a delegation of industrialists and assured them that the DISCOMs will ensure that there is no interruption during working days. Any maintenance work on power infrastructure that may require brief power cuts will be done only on Sundays so that the operation of factories is not affected.
DHBVN Circle 1 SE Manoj Yadav said, “We met industrialists and assured them that we will do the maintenance work only on Sundays.” TNN.
