After the initial exchange in the first game, both the players played well but Sindhu took charge from the start of their match. During this, Sindhu maintained a two-point lead at 6-4 and won the first game 21-12. The world number 7 continued to dominate her opponent as she won seven consecutive points in the first set.
In the second game, Yvonne Lee showed some signs of recovery as she worked hard to get herself back in the game by getting close to Sindhu in terms of points. However, the 26-year-old from Hyderabad didn’t let her opponent gain any momentum and easily won her second game in the quarters of the Indonesia Open Super 1000.
