Indigo Flight: Smoke was found in the cabin after landing of the Indigo Raipur-Indore flight. India Business News – Times of India

New Delhi: In another incident of airline snag, smoke was reportedly detected in the cabin of a indigo flight on 5th July
Indigo Airbus A320 (VT-IJY) was operating as 6E-905 from Raipur to Indore.
News agency PTI reported that all the passengers got off the plane safely.
According to reports, smoke was detected from the cabin during the taxi after landing.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has sought details from the airline regarding the incident.
The incident came hours after the aviation regulator issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet following eight technical glitches in the airline’s planes in the last 18 days.

Three such cases were reported on Tuesday itself. While a Delhi-Dubai SpiceJet flight had a suspected fuel leak and landed safely in Karachi, the second flight from Kandla to Mumbai saw the plane’s outer windshield crack when the turboprop was cruising at 23,000 feet.
The third incident involved a SpiceJet cargo plane – scheduled to operate from Kolkata to Chongqing in China – which returned to Kolkata due to bad weather.

In addition, the Vistara Airbus A320 also developed a snag in its engine after landing at the Delhi airport on Tuesday. The flight had to be diverted away from the parking lot.
A Vistara spokesperson said: “Our flight UK 122 (BKK-DEL) had a minor electrical fault on July 5, 2022, while taxiing in the parking bay, after landing in Delhi. Considering passenger safety and comfort. The crew was selected to tow the plane to the bay.”
The DGCA is also probing the incident.
