IndiGo Announces Delhi-Tbilisi Direct Flights From August 8, Adds Georgia To Network

IndiGo airline has announced Tbilisi, Georgia as its 29th international and 107th overall destination, effective August 08, 2023. The special flight will operate between Tbilisi, Georgia and Delhi, India and is now open for bookings. India’s largest airline brand said, Tbilisi is also part of the ‘Silk Route’ which will further increase the flow of business through the city. IndiGo is now the largest domestic airline with over 55 per cent market share as well as India’s largest international airline in terms of passenger traffic, now serving 29 international cities.

Delhi-Tbilisi flight number 6E 1807 will depart the capital’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 20:10 hrs on Tue, Thu, Sat on Aug 08, 2023 and reach the Georgian capital at 00:45 hrs the next day. Tbilisi-Delhi flight 6E 1808 will depart the Georgian capital at 1.45 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays from August 09, 2023 and reach Delhi at 07:10 am the same day.

The capital of Georgia, Tbilisi is one of the most captivating destinations with a unique blend of history, culture and modernity. Earlier, IndiGo had announced Indonesia as its 28th international destination, with effect from August 7, 2023. IndiGo will be the first airline to directly connect Mumbai to Jakarta. According to the airline, these flights will significantly reduce travel time to Jakarta and have been introduced keeping in mind the growing demand for travel to Indonesia. According to Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Indian tourists are among the top 5 foreign tourists visiting Indonesia.
