Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that India’s success is based on technology-led growth with innovation and startups.

In the inaugural session of the BRICS Business Forum, the Prime Minister said that the government emphasizes on ‘ease of living’, infrastructure building with PM Gatishakti, digital transformation and digital economy.

“India supports innovation in every sector, including drones, green energy and space. By 2025, the value of India’s digital sectors will cross $1 trillion valuation,” PM Modi said.

He said, “BRICS was established with the belief that this group of emerging economies can emerge as engines of global growth. Today, as the world focuses on the recovery of COVID, the role of BRICS countries is will be very important.”

The Prime Minister further said, “This year we are expecting a growth of 7.5%. Which makes us the fastest growing major economy. Transformational changes are taking place in every sector of the emerging New India.”
