After four medals on day 2, Avani Lekhara, Mona Agarwal, Preethi Pal and Manish Narwal, India will hope for more on Saturday at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Avani Lekhara clinched the gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle (SH1) shooting competition and Mona Agarwal won bronze in the same event for a historic double. Preethi Pal won India’s first athletics medal in a Paralympics track event as she clinched a bronze in the women’s T35 100m competition with a personal best time of 14.21 seconds. Manish Narwal fought hard before bagging for silver in the men’s 10m air pistol (SH1) event.
