New Delhi:

Indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant, India’s largest and most complex warship ever designed and built, successfully completed its maiden voyage just a few days ago.

NDTV got access to the aircraft carrier after coming back from a 5 day voyage.

Built at a cost of around Rs 23,000 crore, Vikrant left last Wednesday for important sea trials before inducting into the Indian Navy by August next year.

Vikrant’s delivery is being targeted to coincide with the celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
