NEW DELHI: India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 30.72 crore as of 7 pm on Thursday as per a provisional report, said the Union Health Ministry here.
According to the report, the total number stood at 30,72,46,600.
As the new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination begins on June 21, more than 54.07 lakh vaccine doses were administered, as of 7 pm on Thursday, provisional reports.
It said 35,44,209 first doses of vaccine and 67,627 second doses were administered on Thursday in the 18-44 years category.
Overall, 7,43,45,835 people from this group in 37 states and union territories have received their first dose and 15,70,839 people have received their second dose since the start of Phase-III of the vaccination campaign, As shown in the report.
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnatakahandjob Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan Rajasthan, tamilnadu, Telanganahandjob Orissahandjob Uttar Pradesh And West Bengal has given the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to over 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years, the ministry said in its statement.
