The Central Railway (CR), Mumbai Division will operate the mega block on its Harbor Line on Sunday, April 3 for various engineering and maintenance works. During this period, Indian Railways will run special local trains at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai-Vashi. section. According to the CR release, Trans-Harbour Line services between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations will remain available during the block period.
On the same day, CR will operate a special traffic block for cleaning up and down fast lines after dismantling the old RRI building and OHE slewing work and cross over point at Diva station.
Panvel-Vashi UP and DN Harbor line from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm
(Except Belapur/Nerul-Kharkopar line)
Up Harbor line services leaving Panvel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.33 am to 3.49 pm and Down Harbor line services leaving Panvel/Belapur from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 9.45 am to 3.12 pm will remain suspended.
Up Transharbor Line services leaving Panvel to Thane from 11.02 am to 3.53 pm and Down Transharbour line services leaving Thane to Panvel from 10.01 am to 3.20 pm will remain suspended.
There will be a special traffic and power block between Andheri and Goregaon stations on the Up and Down harbor lines from 9 pm on 2.4.2022 (Saturday midnight) to 7.00 am on 3.4.2022 (Sunday morning), the release said. Due to which suburban services on Harbor Line between Andheri and Goregaon stations will remain suspended.
Central Railway has requested the passengers to cooperate with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this particular block. “These special blocks are required for infrastructure upgrade,” the release said.

Train running pattern of Mail/Express trains during the block period
Mail/Express trains leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus/Dadar during the block period will be diverted to Line 5 between Thane and Kalyan stations and will run 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule.
Mail/Express trains arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus/Dadar during the block period will be diverted on Line 6 between Kalyan and Thane/Vikhroli stations and will arrive 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule.
