Mumbai Mega Block today on 9th January: Central Railway (CR) will operate a mega block on its suburban sections of Harbor Line to carry out maintenance work today, Sunday, January 9. Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No. 8) during this period. Harbor line passengers will also be allowed to travel on Main Line and Western Railway during the block period from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
“These maintenance are essential for the maintenance and security of the mega block infrastructure. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused,” a press release issued by the Central Railway said.

What: Mega Block by Central Railway on Sunday 9th January
When: 11.40 am to 4.40 pm
Where: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra Down harbor line
effect: Dn Harbor line leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai/Wadala Road for Vashi/Belapur/Panvel from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm and Bandra/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm Down Harbor line services will remain suspended.
When: 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Where: Chunabhatti / Bandra – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up harbor line
effect: Up Harbor line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbor line services from Goregaon/Bandra to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm will be suspended.
