Indian Idol Season 12 has recently declared Pawandeep Rajan as the winner. The grand finale of this show, which took place on August 15, was very special. Now, Pawandeep is committed to an event hosted by Raj Surani and Rani Jamal along with finalists Arunita Kanjilal and Shanmukhpriya.
They are gearing up for the live teaser launch of the upcoming music series. Pawandeep shared a glimpse of the preparations on Instagram. It shows him and the other contestants grooving to Hrithik Roshan’s dance song, Ghungroo, from the film War with choreographer Bosco Martis. The video shows him performing dance moves as he leads the ace choreographer.
A few days ago, Pawandeep shared another video on Instagram in which he thanked his fans and announced the upcoming event. He said, “First of all thank you all for your love. I really appreciate it. We will share with you a teaser of our new song project and announce more details (sic.).”
Pawandeep, who hails from Champawat in Uttarakhand, said after winning the title that the victory gave him the confidence to work harder. “I am overwhelmed and feel very fortunate. It is a responsibility and I will make sure to take Gaurav forward,” he said. The singer recalled being nervous at the audition. At that time, he felt that he would not even be selected. However, the whole journey was good and Pawandeep got a lesson. A lot from the judges as well as the team. Pawandeep signed off saying, “Indian Idol acted as a bridge for my dreams. I hope the fans keep showering me with love.”
Indian Idol 12 ran for almost nine months since its inception in November last year. The show was judged by Anu Malik, Himesh Reshammiya and Sonu Kakkar and co-hosted by Udit Narayan’s son Aditya and TV actor Jai Bhanushali.
