Indian Idol 12 finale: 12-hour long episode for a 200-song musical feast
The most popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12 is all set to kick off this year on Independence Day. This is the longest season and will end with a bang, marking a new era in reality TV. Contestants including Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Shanmukhpriya, Nihal Turao and Sayli Kamble have reached the finals and will now compete for the title. With over 40 acts and 200 songs in the 12 hour long ‘Greatest Finale Ever’ episode of Indian Idol 12, there will be some special guests to celebrate Independence Day.
From singers like Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali, rapper Mika Singh to Bollywood celebs Siddharth Malhotra And Kiara Advani, actress Sonia Kapoor and many more will entertain the audience with their songs and various acts.
Actor Jay Bhanushali will be joined by current host Aditya Narayan. They will be seen indulging in some fun and musical entertainment along with the top six contestants Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro and Shanmukh Priya and the judges. Anu Malikhandjob Himesh Reshammiya and Sonu Kakkar.
Singer Sukhwinder Singh will also join Mohd Danish, one of the top six contestants and the duo will be seen giving a stellar performance on the songs ‘Chhaiya Chaiyyaan’ and ‘Lagan Lagi’. He will also perform on songs like ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Pagadi Sambhal’ and ‘Dard-E-Disco’.
He shares his excitement, saying: “I am so happy for all the contestants who are a part of the biggest ever finale of Indian Idol 12. Every singer is brilliant. I love their passion for singing. While one is multi-talented, there are others who are good with classical singing and some like Mohammad Danish who sings good qawwali.”
The grand finale of the singing reality show Indian Idol will take place on the occasion of Independence Day on Sunday, 15 August. Viewers can watch the show on Sony TV channel from 12 noon to 12 noon.
