Indian Ambassador to Palestine dies of unknown causes

Mukul Arya, the Indian delegation at the Palestine Embassy, ​​passed away on Sunday. The cause of death is still not clear. The body of Palestinian official Mukul Arya was found at the embassy’s headquarters in Ramallah. Ramallah is a Palestinian city on the west bank of the Jordan River, 10 km north of Jerusalem, adjacent to Al-Bireh with an average elevation of 880 m above sea level. The city currently serves as the de facto administrative capital of the Palestinian National Authority. Dr Riyad al-Maliki of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry informed about the officer’s death. Condoling Arya’s demise, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has portrayed him as a fine office bearer. The Palestinian leadership has condoled the death of Mukul Arya.

Mukul had unbreakable ties with Palestine

Dr Riyad al-Maliki, Foreign Minister of Palestine, said, ‘We mourn the passing of Mukul Arya. He was an excellent officer and above all a very good friend. The Palestinian government will provide all possible help in this matter. Mukul had close ties with Palestine and was deeply versed in the region. Our President Mahmoud Abbas has also expressed deep sorrow at the passing away of Arya. The Palestinian government is going to send its representative for Arya’s final farewell.
