India would not have been partitioned if Jinnah had become PM first: Rajbhar Varanasi News – Times of India

Varanasi: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar said on Wednesday that “there would have been no partition if Mohammad Ali Jinnah had been made India’s first prime minister”, adding to the controversy sparked by his senior alliance partner Samajwadi Party. Happened. supremo akhilesh yadav
Rajbhar made this claim after Yadav put Jinnah in the same league as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, drawing criticism from several quarters including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
About his recent meeting with Banda jailed mafia don and MLA Mukhtar Ansari, Rajbhar said, “How can Mukhtar be called a criminal till he is convicted?”
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Rajbhar strongly defended Yadav over his recent remarks on Jinnah.
“Top BJP leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani had praised Jinnah on many occasions, so BJP leaders should first read their history. The partition of the country could have been avoided by making Jinnah the first PM of the country.
However, Rajbhar showed annoyance after Jinnah was repeatedly questioned. “Why are you not raising inflation and other issues of public interest,” he told reporters.
On being targeted by BJP’s Rajbhar face and UP minister Anil Rajbhar for meeting Mukhtar in Banda jail, the SBSP chief said, “How can he (Anil Rajbhar) call a person a criminal without being convicted in any case by the court? can. I met Mukhtar in jail under the provisions laid down by the government to meet any prisoner. I have a relationship with Mukhtar for the last 18 years. Why didn’t the BJP question my meeting with him when I was in the government as a coalition partner?
Rajbhar termed the BJP as an ‘opportunist’. “If the BJP needs the support of two public representatives to save its government, it will fall at the feet of Mukhtar.”
He also targeted Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati. “When he needed Mukhtar’s support, he was called the messiah of the poor. But, taking advantage of his popularity, she forgot him. Similarly, BJP people also go to seek Mukhtar’s blessings,” claimed Rajbhar, terming the UP minister a “newbie”.
Rajbhar said that he would hold a meeting of the leaders of his Partnership Morcha in Jagatpur in the coming days to organize a Mahapanchayat for Dalits, OBCs and deprived sections.
Yadav’s apparently remarks comparing Pakistan’s founder Jinnah with Gandhi and Nehru, while praising Patel on his 146th birth anniversary on October 31, raised several eyebrows.
“Sardar Patel understood the land and he took decisions accordingly. Hence, he is also known as Iron Man,” Yadav said at a public meeting in Hardoi.
“Sardar Patel, Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and (Muhammad Ali) Jinnah studied in the same institute and became barristers. He helped (India) get freedom and never backed down from any struggle.
