IND vs SL, 2nd Test, Day 1 Live Updates: Opting to bat, India are down by six wickets against Sri Lanka on day one of the first Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer are currently unbeaten for India and are trying to build a strong partnership. Lasith Embuldeniya has been in good form for Sri Lanka’s bowling department and has picked up three wickets. Praveen Jayavikrama and Dhananjay de Silva took a wicket each. The hosts brought in Axar Patel in place of Jayant Yadav in the XI. On the other hand, Sri Lanka have named Kusal Mendis and Praveen Jayavikrama in place of Pathum Nisanka and Lahiru Kumara. The match is a day-night affair and India would like to clean sweep the visitors by winning the first Test in Mohali by an innings and 222 runs. India have won both their home day/night Tests against Bangladesh and England respectively and will look to make three against Sri Lanka, the only team to win a Test with the pink ball.
