The visitors bounced back in the next outing. They batted first and posted a mammoth 219 runs.
Tilak Varma was the star of the night in Centurion. The youngster contributed with an unbeaten 107-run knock. Among the other Indian batters, Abhishek Sharma added 50 runs to the scoresheet, facing only 25 deliveries. South Africa also showed much urgency during the chase but none of their batters was able to survive long.
