World Test champions will take on New Zealand India In the first test match at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. Kane Williamson’s team will look to break the 33-year-old winning streak and also win their maiden Test series in India.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been rested and KL Rahul has been ruled out with an injury.
Ajinkya Rahane will lead the side and Cheteshwar Pujara will have a lot of focus on the captain and key batsmen. Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill can open the innings while Shreyas Iyer is set to make his debut.

For New Zealand, Kane Williamson will return to the Test series after taking a break from T20Is. Trent Boult is not available for selection, but he is well served with the likes of Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, and Neil Wagner.
Ejaz Patel, Rachin Ravindra and Mitchell Santner have the potential to trouble Indian batsmen, who have not been at their best against spinners in recent times.
