The 252 new people include 203 from Kerala and 12 from Tamil Nadu.

Maharashtra reported 20 cases of COVID-19 with Omicron variant, 9 in Rajasthan, 3 in Karnataka, 4 in Gujarat, 1 in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Chandigarh and 2 in Delhi. Of the new cases, two cases have been reported from Maharashtra and one case from Gujarat.
