India records less than 40,000 daily Covid cases for the first time in 3 months

According to the Union Health Ministry, India’s daily coronavirus cases fell below 40,000 for the first time in the last three months, as the country registered 37,500 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With the fresh spike in daily COVID-19 cases, the coronavirus caseload in India has gone up to 3,03,16,897.

The Union Health Ministry on Tuesday said that India has cured 56,994 people in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery rate in India to 96.87 per cent. India has also reported 907 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the country to 3,97,637.
