According to government data, the death toll has risen to 4,77,554 with 132 new deaths.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.75%. It is less than 2 per cent for the last 77 days. According to the ministry, the weekly positivity rate, 0.60 per cent, has been below 1 per cent for the last 36 days.
With 8,077 people being cured in the last 24 hours, the number of patients cured of the infection has gone up to 3,41,87,017.
The total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered so far in the country has exceeded 137.67 crore.
