India has shown strength in fighting another Covid wave with caution: PM Modi on WEF’s Davos agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday delivered the ‘State of the World’ special address via video conference at the Davos agenda of the World Economic Forum and said India has demonstrated its strength by fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual event that started from today will go on till January 21. It will be addressed by Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, European Commission President Ursua von der Leyen, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Indonesian President Joko Widodo and many heads of state. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Chinese President Xi Jinping among others.

The event will also see participation from top industry leaders, international organizations and civil society, who will deliberate on the critical challenges facing the world today and discuss how to address them.
