Inaugurating the India Drone Festival on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the enthusiasm for drone technology in India indicates that it may soon become an “emerging sector of job creation in India”.
Known as the “largest drone festival” of the country, the event was held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. On Thursday, PM Modi tweeted, “This platform brings together key stakeholders, including startups, with the aim of increasing India’s presence in the region. I urge everyone interested in tech and innovation to watch this event.”
